We exist to make dating fit the life of a long-haul driver - not the other way around. For too long, drivers have been forced to apologize for the way they live: the two-week absences, the irregular reset days, the calls from a Pilot parking lot at 11 p.m. DatingLawn treats all of that as the starting point, not a problem to explain away.
Our mission is simple: build a trucker social network where the route is a feature, not a penalty. Every product decision - from route-based matching to shift-aware chat - answers one question: would this make life easier for a driver 800 miles from home? If the answer is no, it does not ship.

DatingLawn started in late 2024 in a diner booth off I-80 in western Nebraska. Two of our founders - a former Schneider OTR driver and a logistics ops lead - were on a layover, watching a third trucker scroll a swipe app and mutter the same complaint everyone in the freight world recognizes: "This thing keeps showing me women 600 miles off my route."
That night we sketched the first version of the Route Matching Engine on a napkin. The idea was straightforward - instead of matching by static zip code, match by the corridors drivers actually run. By spring 2025 we had a working prototype. By the end of 2025 we had real couples meeting at truck stops along I-35 and I-95.
Today DatingLawn covers 48 states across 35 dedicated pages, with route-aware matching, photo-verified profiles, and an HSI-aligned safety framework. We are still small enough that the team reads every report and every success story - and we plan to stay that way.
